Steve Ullum is President and one of the original founders of Source International. He has over 30 years experience in business development, sales, marketing, operations, manufacturing, new product development, and international trade in Asia with an emphasis in setting up Asian manufacturing lines. Steve has worked in insurance, advertising, marketing, manufacturing, and senior management roles in a wide range of industries in the US and Asia. He holds a BS degree from the WVU College of Business and Economics and has lived full time in China since 2003.
Rick Lykins is CEO and has over 30 years experience in sales, manufacturing, coal mining, oil and gas exploration, and aerospace. Rick has been involved in numerous major acquisitions in the coal, oil and natural gas industries and has overseen a multitude of businesses including heavy jet maintenance facility, retail stores for women’s formal dress wear, handbags, commercial properties, pizza franchises, and a recording studio. His work has taken him to the former USSR, Kazakhstan, South Africa, Switzerland, China, South Korea, Federated States of Micronesia, Guam, Saipan, Solomon Islands, Italy, and Tunisia. Rick holds a BBA in accounting from Marshall University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and is a registered Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Jim Ullum is COO and has over 25 years of manufacturing, product development, and supply management experience in Asia and Europe managing offshore supply chains and manufacturing industrial and consumer products supplied to major brands, manufacturers and importers. He led the development of the cloud-based Source Information System (SIS) platform, which provides staff and customers with end-to-end visibility on the status of all supply chain activities through a private secure portal. Jim holds an MBA from the WVU College of Business and Economics, is a Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.), and is a regular speaker on international business and supply management topics.
Jeff Carey is GM of OEM Operations and is a certified Six-Sigma Black Belt. He has over 20 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, and product design in a wide variety of industries and product categories ranging from consumer products to precision parts and high tech. Jeff spends a considerable amount of his time each year in China working directly with the factories and overseeing the staff and product operations with a strong emphasis on the Quality Management System and quality assurance. Jeff’s background also includes positions as production manager, engineering manager and financial consultant. Jeff holds a degree in electronics from UEI and attended the Mechanical Engineering Technology program at Purdue University.
Bob Su is Director of OEM Operations and has over 15 years of experience in product development, manufacturing, and quality management. He works closely with customers and the USA team to successfully develop and launch a wide range of new products from precision parts to basic assemblies and assists the suppliers with setting up of the production lines and the quality systems. Bob has been with Source since 2004 and has interfaced with over 200 China factories and 100 Source customers in that time. Prior to Source he held a position with a large multinational manufacturing company and holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Fuzhou University.
Lewis Chen is Co-QA Manager and has over 10 years of experience in product development, manufacturing, and quality management. He has been with Source since 2008 and works closely with suppliers and Source China staff to monitor the development of new products, oversee quality inspection and testing, provide technical assistance and set up the quality assurance plan. He also oversees the Quality Management System to ensure that is effectively designed, implemented and maintained. Prior to Source he held a position as design engineer of stamping dies and product design engineer and holds a degree in Material Forming and Control Engineering from Fujian University of Technology.
George Zhang is Co-QA Manager and has over 10 years of experience in quality management. He has been with Source since April, 2018 and is responsible for the overall performance of QAT Team and takes a lead role in Quality Assurance of products. He ensures the Quality Management System is effectively designed, implemented and maintained towards the goal of “Supplying Partnerships for Customer Success”. Prior to Source he held a position as supplier quality manager in Apple Inc. for two years and as quality manager in ASSA ABLOY company for seven years. and holds a degree from Zhengzhou Light Industry University where he graduated in 1998, majoring in mechanical design and manufacturing.
